In 1988 after a career in advertising, Sandee decided to teach art directors and designers how to use "the machine". She started using InDesign when it was in its first beta and has written the InDesign Visual QuickStart guide on every version since. She has also recently co-authored, with Diane Burns, "Digital Publishing with Adobe Design."
